FINAL APPROVAL PROCEDURE

FINAL BUILDING APPROVAL

Based upon application for the final approval and its annexes, the constructor requests the construction authority to initiate approval proceedings. For the approval procedure, the constructor is required to provide many documents including contracts, attestations, certificates and protocols of various tests; without all the necessary documents, the approval procedure is suspended. The final building approval is a document that determines the purpose and conditions of use of the building. After issuing the approval, the constructor shall apply based upon application to the respective municipal authority for allocation of Register Number and subsequently request the respective district office - cadastral department to register the building in the cadastre.

ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION PERMIT

If the construction authority finds that the construction started before a valid construction permit, in conflict with the verified project-specific documentation or even if the constructor himself applies for additional construction permit on the basis of application, the administrative proceedings will be initiated (infringement proceedings with imposition of fine). The constructor shall submit necessary documentation to the construction authority, on the basis of which the construction authority will decide on additional construction permit or order modifications to already completed construction and may also order the removal of the building.

REGISTRATION AND STREET NUMBER

Registration and street number is issued by respective municipal authority upon request of the constructor. After issuing the registration number, the relevant district office - cadastral department is then applied for registering the building in the cadastre registry.
